There’s nothing like doing wedding makeup for family. It was honour to be a part of my sister in law’s sister’s magical wedding. The woodland magic truly came to life and translated so well in the photos.

To match the scenery, we chose champagne and chocolate brown tones for her makeup. We finished off the eyes with a more natural set of lashes and warmed up her cheeks with some coral tones blushes. She was absolutely glowing.

My assistant did an amazing job on all of the bridesmaids. The eyes really stood without looking overly dramatic.

It was such a pleasure to take part in your special day!

I’ve known this beautiful bride and her lovely little sister since their years in high school. It was so unreal getting them ready for the bride’s wedding.

Getting ready for the two-day celebration was nothing short of perfect; A serene start at the family house in a room filled with sunlight and music.

The bride was stunning for both her Hindu and her modern western wedding celebrations. Her makeup was dramatic but not overpowering. We focused on a soft winged contour for the eyeshadow and bronzing blush paired with coral tones for the face. She was just stunning.

I have such fond memories of this bride. Being a part of her big day simply topped them off. Thank you for having me as your makeup artist!

She is amongst many of the brides that I’ve kept in touch with following the wedding. She’s so kind, fun and relaxed, which is precisely how getting ready for her special day was: fun and relaxed.

The makeup look that she wanted was timeless: a subtly smoky eye with burgundy lips. Eyeshadow was carefully blended layer by layer keeping it soft. Lipstick was painted on with a brush, with a nude rather than red lipliner base, again to keep it soft.

The bridal party, also so kind and relaxed, trusted me and my assistant to select a look that we thought suited them best. Everyone was beaming with happiness. Such a beautiful day.

Thank you letting me share in that happiness!

Xoxo ❤️

This blushing bride truly has a cowgirl soul and her wedding, a serious farmhouse vibe. With her cowboy boots peeking under her lovely bridal gown and her most loved horse by her side along with her beau, her wedding was picture perfect.

With already stunning features, it was so easy to beautify this bride. Some contouring around the eyes paired with golden eyeshadow, individual lashes and layers of mascara was already enough to make her eyes pop. Her skin was kept warm with some contouring, subtle peach blush and gentle highlighting.

It was so lovely to work with such a warm and free-spirited person. Thank you for being so sweet and making my job so enjoyable!

I met Lydia last year when she came to me for bridal makeup for her first wedding celebration at City Hall. She has an adorable nephew and wanted to make sure that he would still recognize his auntie after her makeup was done; After the trial, her nephew saw her and approved!

We had a nice peaceful morning getting ready at the Westin Prince hotel. Lydia looked stunning in her beautiful red gown that she had made back home in Indonesia. Lydia and I had a special connection and I definitely wanted to be able to do her makeup again for her second wedding celebration later that year, but with my baby #2 on the way I had to miss out on that opportunity!

Lydia, I wish you all the best! I’m thankful to have met you!

I’d been proudly doing makeup for Nobis for a few years when the creative director referred Joanne, his cousin, to me for bridal makeup. Of course I was equally as proud to be able to beautify yet another lovely and sweet bride. Joanne was so fun to work with; Such a bright and upbeat spirit!

We kept her daytime makeup natural. For the evening reception at Chateau le Jardin, we deepened it and added another half set of falsies to add volume and fluff to the lashes.

Another shout out to my team for doing amazing work as usual with hair and makeup! Thanks Mary, Josephine, Eliza and Shaelyn!

Congratulations Joanne and Shaun! Thank you for having me be a part of your magical day!

When my brother-in-law announced his engagement to my now sister-in-law, I was ecstatic! Not only is she beautiful, she is such a loving and thoughtful person. She always wears a huge smile on her sweet face and is so genuinely kind. I was honoured when she asked me to be her makeup artist for their special day.

After trying out a few makeup looks, we finally decided on the perfectly soft coral makeup with baby nude pink lips that would accentuate her eyes and match their coral winery wedding at Willow Springs Winery.

Thanks Amanda for having me beautify your already beautiful face on your marriage to Fred! xoxo
